JobMarketHealth is an independent labor-market research site. It organizes federal statistics on hiring demand, employment, wages and long-term outlook, then explains what those measures do and do not support. It is not a job board, and it does not sell candidate data.

Editorial standards
- Source first. Every figure comes from a published release, named on the page, with the date it was imported.
- No estimates in place of missing data. When a source suppresses or has not published a value, the page says so instead of filling the gap.
- No sponsored content and no paid placement. Nobody can buy a score, a ranking or a mention.
- Plain limits. Where data is lagged, national only, or industry rather than occupation based, the page says that on the spot.
- No invented precision. We do not publish local or state values we have not ingested, and we do not present modeled projections as current openings.
How derived interpretation is separated from source data
Source data is what an agency published. Derived interpretation is anything we compute from it, including the composite Job Market Health score and its three components. Occupation pages label both, and the methodology page sets out the weighting and inputs in full.
Corrections and versioning
Federal statistics get revised, so a score can change after the fact. We keep both the originally published value and the restated value for each month rather than quietly overwriting history.
Methodology changes are versioned. When the calculation changes, it ships as a new methodology version and prior months keep the version they were computed under. If we find an error in our own presentation or derivation, we fix the page and note what changed.
Coverage today
Current coverage is national, by occupation. Geographic detail is limited to the metro employment and wage context that the annual occupational wage series publishes. Local and state level intelligence is being expanded, and planned sources are listed as planned on the data sources pages until they are actually in use.
