Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey · U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics
JOLTS is the monthly national read on labor demand and churn. Establishments report how many positions were open on the last business day of the month, how many people they hired, how many quit, and how many were laid off or discharged.
Current Employment Statistics · U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics
CES, often called the payroll survey, samples businesses and government agencies each month and reports employment, hours and earnings. It is the fastest broad read on whether employers are still adding jobs.
Employment Projections · U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics
The Employment Projections program models how employment in each occupation and industry is expected to change over the published projection horizon, and estimates how many openings that produces in a typical year.

Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics · U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics
OEWS is the wage and staffing map of the labor market. It estimates how many people work in each detailed occupation and what they are paid, nationally and for states, metro areas and industries.
Occupational Information Network (O*NET®) Database · U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration
The O*NET® Database describes what work in an occupation actually involves. It catalogs tasks, knowledge, skills, abilities, work activities, work context, tools and software, and related occupations.

American Community Survey · U.S. Census Bureau
The American Community Survey is the annual national survey of demographic, social, economic and housing characteristics. Its 1-year products cover larger areas, and its 5-year products reach small geographies at the cost of timeliness.
County Business Patterns · U.S. Census Bureau
County Business Patterns is the annual count of employer establishments by industry and geography, with employment, payroll and establishment size classes down to county and ZIP level.
Business Dynamics Statistics · U.S. Census Bureau
Business Dynamics Statistics measures the churn underneath employment totals: establishment and firm births and deaths, job creation and job destruction, and how those vary by firm age and size.

CareerOneStop is the Department of Labor's career information service. It packages federal occupation, training, credential and local program data into one set of tools and access-controlled data services.
