What it measures
- Observed AI usage by occupation (6-digit SOC)
- The automation versus augmentation split at task level, grouped to occupations
What it does not measure
Most misreadings of labor data come from asking a dataset a question it was not built to answer. These are the limits worth holding onto.
- Use of other AI products
- Employment effects or job loss
Update cadence
Irregular research releases; checked quarterly.
Occupation pages name the specific release behind each figure and when it was imported, so you can see how current a number is rather than assuming it is new. More on that on about the data.
How JobMarketHealth uses it
- Observed-usage context on the AI & Jobs page and occupation AI panels. Kept separate from exposure, adoption and outcome measures.
- The publisher specifies CC-BY for data and MIT for code. JobMarketHealth attributes the data to Anthropic and identifies its own transformations; the exact CC-BY version is not specified in the publisher README. Never an input to the Job Market Health score.
Where it sits
This dataset is AI & Jobs research context. It is never an input to the Job Market Health score. Read the methodology.
Official source
Anthropic publishes Anthropic Economic Index. JobMarketHealth organizes and derives from that public data and is not its publisher.
